You can make some very cool wallpapers in Blender.
These wallpapers were made by /u/legosora from that other website. Had the link bookmarked so i thought I'd share them here. If you are interested in learning how to use Blender (free professional level 3d modelling software), you can come join /t/blender for any help. For something like wallpaper creation, its a very easy and fun way to make something that looks great.

Pretty cool, I need to do more fun abstract stuff.
Ye and the good thing about this kind of thing is the actual set up is so easy. Just add a few modifiers to some basic shapes and then its basically just all about getting the right colour, material angle etc...
