U.S. hits EU, Canada and Mexico with steel, aluminum tariffs
The United States on Thursday said it was moving ahead with tariffs on aluminum and steel imports from Canada, Mexico and the European Union, ending a two-month exemption and potentially setting the stage for a trade war with some of America's top allies.

Interesting/scary how Trump does things that Moscow benefits from most.
How do you figure these tariffs benefit Moscow the most? Moscow, Russian Federation, mind you, with a GDP right around that of Latvia or Croatia.
I don't think he thought that far ahead. The majority of Canadian steel companies are fully or partially American owned.
Not to mention raising the cost of steel is going to impact a lot of US companies ... and ultimately consumers.
I have a bad feeling about this
