Never let a crisis go unused, the US government is currently a shit storm so it's time to start massively pushing the common EU Military. Then you get the fun part, who gets to control this new super military? I bet Merkel thinks it's Germany. Also, how do Western bloc members like Poland feel about this, I bet they would probably be slightly worried about giving the EU Parliament that power.
