Donald Trump threatens to impose tax on European cars
U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a hefty import duty on European cars if the European Union retaliates against his steep tariffs on aluminum and steel. Earlier this week, Mr. Trump officially announced tariffs of 25% on steel and 10% on aluminum, despite major opposition from his own party, triggering a possible trade war with China and Europe.

If you import a car into Germany you get hit with a 10% import tax...plus a 19% VAT tax. Most of the EU is that way. They don't get hit with that sending their cars to the US though.
He's just out to push everyone's buttons!
