Autopsy Shows Prison Escapee Richard Matt Was Drunk When He Was Killed
New York prison escapee Richard Matt was drunk when he was shot to death near the Canadian border in June, authorities revealed Wednesday. Citing new results of Matt's autopsy, the New York State Police said Matt had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent — more than twice the 0.08 percent that is considered too drunk to drive a car in the state.
