Hewlett-Packard shows how to fatten shareholders while firing workers
Shareholders of the big high-tech company Hewlett-Packard have done pretty nicely over the last year. Their stock gains have outpaced the Standard & Poor's 500 Index by about 14 percentage points, and in 2014 they pocketed a handsome $2.7 billion through share repurchases and $1.2 billion in dividends.

This is so typical of these money grabbing,immoral people. I'm no longer surprised when I read stories like this. Why don't they just do what Wall mart and McDonalds had done and be done with it? Or better yet, set up work forces in prisons and pay them nothing, that's the ticket! Then they get to keep all the money for themselves. This is why I'm for a universal living wage, so no matter what these corporations do, people have money to live off of and can do so even if their existence effects the poor,put upon shareholders.
