Bitcoin reached a really high price once before and then crashed back down, it's not uncommon for bitcoin to price correct regularly once it reaches over a thousand. Unlock the stock market there are no real protections against a hard crash. Personally, I'm hoping for that hard crash so I can get in at a real price.
So buy Litecoin, it's actually open source, so it's got that going for it.
