On Nov 12, 2019, Disney+ is expected to launch in the United States and threaten Netflix’s market dominance. In order to maintain its competitive advantage, Netflix could feasibly integrate blockchain technology into its service. In an article published by Forbes, it is claimed that Netflix has heavily disrupted the cable television industry. However, it explicitly declared that it is no longer “the future of television.”
