A Strange Desert - The Salton Sea, CA

A brief photo series exploring the eastern rim of the Salton Sea in California. I took a few pictures at Bombay Beach (a half-abandoned beach town straight out of a post-apocalyptic film) and East Jesus, an art installation in a colony of off-the-grid residences called Slab City. If you're in Southern California, I'd HIGHLY recommend making a trip out to these places. More info on all three places in the Wikipedia links below.
