I posted just a couple of days ago I was excited by this film because Duncan Jones is directing it, but that trailer really has completely destroyed those expectations. It just looks like in-game footage that's being played on a projector.

Of course, I know it's based on a game, but still... I was expecting more than that.

I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling underwhelmed by this... Sure, it's hard to judge 3D quality from cam footage, but even if the 3D work is mind-blowing in HD, I don't feel much excitement for the prospect at all. I think movies like Avatar and The Hobbit have dulled my excitement over pure CGI fests that don't deliver solid storytelling as well. If Warcraft features stellar storytelling, it sure wasn't featured here.
