Opopanax is a wonderfully dark scent to me with just a hint of sweetness. It is in my favorite blend Black Butterfly Moon (* Lady of the Night orchid, benzoin, opopponax, currant, black chypre, white gardenia, ambergris, damp, wooded mosses, and black lily.*). I've not quite mastered picking it out of a line-up, but I'm hoping that with these scent descriptions I'll become more knowledgeable.
