By doing that, they'll remove quite some security issues. Not that it really matters when the rest of the software still sucks, but hey, let's be optimistic. :-) Ah, a small note: it's 2020.
That's so true. It's only my back up on this crappy lappy while-my new Ubuntu computer is being built for me. Any who,the thing that worries me is if the can remove that forever,what else might they remove forever,like ad blocking software,Firefox,etc?
Well, they really should do that. And get their asses far away from the Linux Foundation, because they represent everything that is not open source, be it software or mentality.
Edit: such a thing (removing software options as Firefox and other software from their shop or however they run that crap) would motivate more people towards Linux (and Mac). So, in that light it would be excellent. :-)
