When will Xbox live be free? And why do we keep paying for it?
With the wii U coming out next week it got me thinking.

Nintendo now has several of the games people play competitively online. The new call of duty as well as mass effect 3 are launch day games. Who knows what other online compatible games they will have in the future.
So why is Xbox the only system that makes us pay for online services? And if I remember right the price has gone up $10 in the last 2 years. And not only do we pay, but we have ads thrown in our faces.
When is this going to change?
