Remember the slogan, "Now you're playing with power"?
It sounds a lot better than "Now you're playing with a gimmick." When a feature is oversold and underutilized, it begins to feel a lot like a gimmick. I thought the motion controls on the Wii were fun for many games, but in some it felt really forced. I think the gamepad for the WiiU is a strange thing...why do I want to take my eyes off the screen to look at a smaller screen. I suppose in concept it's similar to the DS/3DS, but those screens are very close to each other and generally both right in my line of sight. I really enjoy Nintendo games, own a N3DSXL and am still contemplating a WiiU, but really all I want is a Nintendo home console that can match or surpass the power of the XBone or PS4. If Nintendo continues to bank their future on innovation to the detriment of computing power, I really fear they are going to continue to slip farther behind. You would think they're well positioned to release something that can leave the competition in the dust, but I just instinctively doubt that will happen, so the question will be whether or not the innovation associated with the NX will be a hit or a miss.

Tri Force Heroes awarded “Best Handheld / Mobile Game” at Game Critics Awards
Tri Force Heroes has certainly been the talk of the town since its surprise unveiling at this year’s E3. But don’t just take our word for it — it’s our job to talk about Zelda anyway, right? — the game has left many other gaming publications impressed.

It's important to note that this raid was in connection with the arrest of Russell Taylor, the former director of the Jared Foundation, and that Jared himself has not been arrested.

But you're not being accused of drugging and raping several women over a period of many years. I'd argue that while in most cases, a history of giving women drugged drinks when the women are consenting and aware of the drugs is a non-issue (EDIT - or a different issue, at least), but in the context of someone accused of doing this exact thing to women that weren't aware of it...that seems like it could be a potentially compelling argument.

But giving your wife a couple of glasses of wine isn't quite the same as giving her a glass of wine with three half benadryl pills, which in turn isn't the same as luring teenagers into a beer-van. I can see both sides of an argument here. Sure, the fact that he did it to women with their knowledge does not necessarily mean he did it to women without their knowledge. Taken in the context of the larger allegations, I think it is important to note that he didn't testify that he hadn't given the pills to any women without their knowledge, he simply refused to cooperate when presented with that question.
