The same sort of thing is happening in the Smash Brothers 4 scene. The competitive player ZeR0 has been dominating everyone and recently the creator of the CEO gaming tournament , as well as the creator of Smashboards (A competitive Smash Brothers forum) put forward 500 dollars total (and growing) for ZeR0 to be eliminated from the double elimination bracket.
I saw that. Fighting Game Tourneys have gotten a lot more interesting as of late.
Agreed. I love watching these tournaments as it is. This makes it even more interesting.
