Personally, I think he's really dedicated but kind of misguided on a few things, namely yes, his personal footprint is lesser, but with eating out, uber driving and never washing his clothes (!), he's just transferring his footprint to someone else. I like some of what he said, and the idea of using a car battery to power most of his small appliances is really cool. Of course, using soylent most of the time myself, I think it's a great way to reduce your footprint.
But the clothes thing gives me shivers.
