The early '90s were, unfortunately, the beginning of the end for The Gloved One. The success of his "Dangerous" album helped Michael Jackson carry over his dominance from the '80s into the new decade. The joy would be short-lived though because just two years after the release of "Dangerous", Jackson would find himself embroiled in the first of his high profile criminal cases for child molestation. Although the case was eventually dropped without charges being filed, the damage was done. Jackson's image was irreperably tarnished, and his excentric- downright bizzare, behavior would turn the former King of Pop and music Icon into a punchline.
