10 Western novels everyone should read
Forget your cowboy movie blockbusters and your local barn-dance knees-up; if you want to get seriously down and dusty with the Wild West, grab yourself a paperback. The Western novel might be a genre currently our of favour but it has a long and illustrious history.

I would like to add Zane Grey's, The Last Trail.
I read a lot, but have yet to read a Zane Grey novel. I will be changing that soon.
If you do read Zane Grey there are two other books related to The Last Trail. Betty Zane was first,2nd was The Spirit of The Boarder, 3rd was The Last Trail. They are related and about the same family the famous Zanes. Zane Grey was related to this famous family.

The books are fiction ,but the family in them is real. Some of events really happened. I have visited the graves of the famous Zane family in Martins Ferry,Ohio. Without telling to much,there is mystery surrounding why they ended up being buried there. I hope you enjoy the books and send me a private message to let me know what you think of them . I have done a lot of research about these 3 books and Zane Grey.
