Splatoon is now the highest-selling game on the Japanese eShop
Dragon Quest X has long been the most popular game on the Japanese Wii U eShop. However, that honor has since gone to Splatoon, which is now the top-selling title on the store. Makes since, since it was sold out physically everywhere.
Plus this feels like a perfect digital game, like Smash or Mario Kart, since it'd be a pain having to constantly swap out disks to play these games.
Wow, that's sweet! I think the chances of us getting a sequel are pretty damn high!
(I really hope the sequel puts things like the sponges and inkrails from singleplayer into multiplayer maps)
