For what I saw of gameplay footage this new Doom looks really amazing.
Isn't this the same trailer from E3?
Similar, but slightly different. This shows off a few of the enemies a bit better, like the Mancubus. Also, this is a trailer in the more traditional sense (for marketing uses) as opposed to E3 which showed off the gameplay. One is much easier to have playing in stores like EB Games (Gamestop for Americans) while the other is shown to those who need more info.

I'm cautiously optimistic, but I hope they haven't forgotten most of what made Doom 1 & 2 so great.
As much as I love Doom and as amazing as this looks, I wish we could get a proper sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein that has a multiplayer system of the same caliber. Probably still the biggest hole in my heart is trying to find a multiplayer that I enjoyed as thoroughly RtCW.
Is anyone else concerned about the mini cutscene bits for melee combat? They seem kinda long and pointless
I wish they would remove the overused yellow filter.
