Never Invest In A Movie, Says Billionaire Director George Lucas
Audiences were privy to a rare treat as comedian Stephen Colbert interviewed Star Wars creator George Lucas onstage at the Tribeca Film Festival Friday afternoon. “How’s it being George Lucas?” Colbert asked. “It’s okay,” the billionaire director replied, deadpan. Lucas, 70, proceeded to regale the hundreds gathered with tales of his brief stint as a race car driver, his start in experimental films and the making of the 1977 original Star Wars.
