Great Job, Everyone! Bitcoiners Are DDoSing Bitcoin
Well, would you look at that—the sun rose this morning, and it’s another totally batshit day in the world of Bitcoin. A European Bitcoin exchange just threw 200 bitcoins to the wolves, and users are scrambling to collect them, effectively DDoSing the entire network. CoinWallet.eu, the exchange in question, is slowly releasing the addresses and private keys for Bitcoin wallets containing 200 coins split into thousands of tiny fractions for anyone to claim.

This sort of stuff reaffirms my belief that Bitcoin has no future as a legitimate currency.
Seriously. By far the most prominent use of bitcoin, at least thus far, has been to bet on the bitcoin market. It'll never hold as a legitimate store of value for actual commodities.
I feel like it's too inconsistent in value and uses for it to be truly useful.
