Sonic The Hedgehog 2 re-released on Google Play, with a remastered engine and a new level
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 has been re-released on Android and iOS devices. This new version has been developed by Christian Whitehead (also known as The Taxman), a modder previously responsible for the recent remasterings of Sonic 1 and Sonic CD as well as the development of the Retro Engine. This new version is rebuilt from the ground up using said engine. New features include touchscreen controls, 60FPS support, Hidden Palace Zone, a save system and the ability to play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles.
