Kim Jong-un plans £130 million airport to boost North Korean tourism
North Korea is planning to spend $200 million (£130 million) turning an old military runway into a tourist hub. The renovated airport, in the Kumgang Tourism Zone on the border with South Korea, has been designed by Hong Kong architects PLT Planning and Architecture and will accommodate up to 1.2 million tourists a year.

Why would anyone want to give money to North Korea via tourism, where they execute people for trying to leave their shit hole country... Or throw them in prison camps for their entire lives where it's basically a death sentence.
I don't get it either. People go there all the time to experience such a locked down country (before the inevitable collapse), but in the end provide them with $2-3k which probably goes directly to kim jong family.
