As much as I like the idea of streaming content for games, I'm not confident that our current infrastructure could support it without latency/lag problems.
Could someone who has experience with this kind of service chime in to give your opinion on how the games run?
I have experience with Onlive and Nvidia GRID which are both cloud streaming services.
Onlive was a service that streamed PC games to tablets/phones/PCs. It worked incredibly well with no latency or lag problems. Though you do need to have good internet for this to work. (3G on my phone was decent enough)
Nvidia GRID is also a game streaming service, but it is only available in SHIELD devices. Nvidia has a catalog of games that you can stream for free until a specific date which I forgot. This also works incredibly well even with my 2.4ghz router! (a 5ghz connection is recommended)
I haven't been able to try PS Now because of my location but I'll soon be moving to the US so I'm hoping that I'll be able to use the service more often now.
