    I think it's kind of sad this isn't very very prominent in the news, mostly because nobody thinks it can happen to them apparently. Conserving water needs to become as prevalent as Global Warming if we want to avoid this situation in the future. I for one remember being taught about turning off the water when brushing my teeth and doing my dishes, but I too have been very guilty of thinking I don't need to worry about it, and that's a problem for most people.

      That's sort of been the general narrative here. Nobody really cares until it directly affects them. We've known for years about these problems, but it wasn't until recently that people started caring. It wasn't until people started saying "Because you've neglected it for so long, if you don't work to solve this now, you are fucked."

      Trouble coming even if it rained here for two months straight through, but yes!

        I am hoping El Nino helps soon. I have been through some droughts,but nothing like you are experiencing out there now.

          Was listening to the radio this morning and heard some expert say that El Nino isn't really going to help that much, but at least its something.
