Carlo Gesualdo - Moro lasso
Gesualdo's music represents one of the most interesting and terrifying composers during the late Italian Renaissance. One day, he caught his wife and her lover making love at his palace and proceeded to murder both of them, stabbing her repeatedly. He left their bodies in front of his palace for all to see and, as a nobleman, was free from persecution. However, this does not mean that he was safe from revenge so he fled to his castle to remain safe and isolated and during this time, composed.
