It's quite interesting that none of the major mainstream newspapers in the US have covered this event (e.g., New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) Out of all the media channels, only democracynow.org has had coverage, along with smaller newspapers such as the HuffingtonPost.
Either the mainstream press is being pressured by the US government to limit the spread of the news or they don't find the news worthwhile to publish. I don't know which one is worse.
