STOP THE TORTURE IN EGYPT In Egyptian prisons and secret detention centres under state security and military officials, thousands of Egyptians are severely exposed to multiple forms of torture. Whipping, electrocuting, forcing people to stay in unsustainable positions, physical and psychological violence, are such examples of torture. Torture and abuse, that undermine human dignity, do not distinguish between men or women, adults or children, and have caused hundreds of deaths just this year.
