Stop calling the Syrian conflict a ‘civil war.’ It’s not.
Doing so gives the Assad regime a veneer of legitimacy and has serious impact on international accountability.

The only thing WaPo has right is that the Syrian conflict is not a civil war.
It is a CIA coup of the legitimate government there (whether you like Assad or not) using the proxy army they created - ISIS (or as the CIA mouthpieces like to call "moderate rebels").
The author's not a humanitarian. She's just on the other side. You know, with Daesh and Al Qaeda, Sen. McCain, Pres. Obama and Sec. Clinton.
