I mean, this is great and all for Xbox players, but is backwards compatibility something we're all stunned by now?

I seem to remember some older consoles that were able to do this sort of stuff...

Plus, I mean, PCs... Pretty backwards compatible.

How many years did it to take them to admit a mistake. Really?

Yeah, since release the Xbox 1 has been one big long backtrack.

Yeah, I remember being stunned when the Xbox One and PS4 came out, and neither of them had backwards compatibility. Seemed like a step backwards not to include that.

With that said, I'm pretty thrilled that they're implementing it now. Hopefully a few of my favorite games will be included.

I remember when the 360 could do the same thing, it basically emulated the Xbox to play the game... Eventually they quit adding new games it could emulate and I am not even sure it still has the ability to play them. I expect the same to happen with the One. Of course the devils advocate says that over time people will migrate to the new systems and this wwwint really be needed anymore.

Was the frame rate still good? Or did you notice any slowdowns?

It was mostly the same as playing on the Xbox, some games were worse than others but all around it was the same basic experience.

Did Sony even come close to winning E3 after this was announced. As someone who hasn't bought an Xbox One, and who is hoarding 360 games like an insane person. This was amazing news for me, and helped cement an already solid stance that I was going to buy an Xbox One (I just can't give up my GamerScore)
