I have already had some issues with how dogs are judged at dog shows - mainly because the judges (especially in the United States) uphold form over function. A dog who is in top condition to do the "job" they were bred for rarely looks like the dogs who win dog shows, in my opinion. The Labrador Retriever is a classic example - compare a lab who wins at a dog show to the top labs in agility competitions. This article just supports what I already feel is a problem with dog shows.
