  • "Stand Still. Stay Silent" is one of my favourite ongoing webcomic stories, one of rare quality. The art, by Minna Sundberg, is absolutely beautiful, inspiring awe and horror in equal measure. The prologue alone is enthralling (and thus heartwrenching), and the story strikes an emotional balance for me – although the post-apocalyptic world isn't overly happy, I rarely find it depressing or distasteful, and moments of humour lighten the darker tone. I don't read "Stand Still. Stay Silent" for the jokes, though – it's a genuinely satisfying read.

The story is, at this point, far from finished, but it's already pretty advanced. Updates are frequent enough that the story avoids the common problem of progressing too slowly, so I'm always impressed by the amount of detail in each page!

It is very beautiful. Haven't started reading yet, but it is definitely going into the rotation, there is a lot to read...
