Spotify files for IPO; the first major IPO in 2018 | AlphaStreet

It's been around ten years since Spotify launched its service in 2008. With monthly active users of 159 million and premium subscribers of 71 million as of December 31, 2017, Spotify filed for its IPO today. The company plans to trade its ordinary shares on the NYSE under the ticker symbol SPOT.
