I'll bet this list needs revised almost daily with these idiots.

Is this going to be the 2016 misdirection issue?

In 2012 it was "Republicans hate poor people."

Pretty much anything from Rawstory is sensationalized tabloid articles.

Everyone has their opinion on which publications are newsworthy vs tabloidian.
The fact that this story originates from a site you consider "less" than journalistic doesn't really negate the fact that these men said these things about women and their beliefs that a woman's body is public domain -- their comments very clearing evidence their "hate" of women, and their detest for the idea that women should have autonomy over their own bodies -- JUST LIKE MEN DO. When men masterbating is considered "murder" -- after all, you are killing "life" -- then I will believe that the anti-choice people are all about LIFE... until then, if it walks, talks, and behaves like a misogynistic asshat .. then it is a misogynist.

I'll start by saying that I'm not a republican. I'm actually pretty liberal on almost every issue except for spending. I'm pro-choice and I think that women should have full autonomy over their body. I also don't like the mudslinging nature of politics. By posting this instead of an article saying why people SHOULD vote for Bernie Sanders, you aren't going to change anyone's mind. What you would do is start a circlejerk of people with the same views. "BURN THE WITCH!!!" "SHE TURNED ME INTO A NEWT!"

Luckily, this site (Snapzu) doesn't fall for the circlejerk issues quite as often as Reddit will.

However, since I'm commenting on your article, I'll comment about your article as well.

Several of these quotes don't belong on the list. If I don't mention it below, I agree that what was said is reprehensible and not defensible.

Ben Carson isn't saying anything outlandish here. He is saying what may be a fact (I don't have a source) and that those lives do matter. He isn't vilifying the women for making their own decision with regards to that life.

Bobby Jindal fell for a hoax. If that video was true, it would be shocking and gruesome. He said he wanted to find out if the video was true. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Donald Trump says a lot of outlandish things for TV ratings.

Chris Christie isn't necessarily correct, but he's saying it's ok for people to use birth control whether or not the government funds it. Personally, I've always paid for birth control (condoms) out of my own pocket. I do have insurance and my wife can get birth control pills for less than $5 per month. However, they tend to not play nice with her other medications (anxiety/depression), so she hasn't been using the pills. I can't wait until we have a viable option for male birth control pills or injections. I think it's important for us to use some form of birth control and I think it's my responsibility to pay for contraceptives. I don't want someone else to pay for me to be able to have sex.

All of this leads me to my main issue with this topic. YES, there are huge problems with healthcare costs in the country. Obama recognized that when he pushed so hard for the ACA. However, the solution (easier access to insurance) is EXACTLY the same as the Republican solution for mass shootings (easier access to guns). Insurance isn't the solution. Insurance is the problem.

Thank you :) I can understand what you mean about the circle jerk effect -- and so I apologize for my snarky tone.
And I also take your point regarding spending my energy pushing FOR the candidate I support, rather than focusing on the ones that will not get my vote EVER. Single payer is the best option for a modern society -- but, we will never be allowed to have that here because people believe that just because they pay taxes, that somehow means they only have to fund those programs with which they personally agree. However, those of us smarter than the average "wingbat" know that there are multitude of programs for which the taxpayers money is used (WAR, Corporate Welfare, ect.) that we are not always going to agree with for personal reasons.
The attempts of people (mostly old, white men) to regulate a woman's vagina is just one of those issues that gets under my skin in a big way.
