Hoverboards and Back to the Future are cool and all, but I have two issues with this:
- Does it really have enough "lift" to counter the weight of an adult human standing on it?
- It's useless for actual skateboarding, unless all you want to do is go straight in one direction. I can imagine any kind of a slope will also be a challenge.
Although it would be nice to apply this to make it easier to move heavy objects around the house, for example.
I'm skeptical of the lift, purely because in neither video did they show any weight on it. Even the end of the second clip was partial weight of a foot.
Technically it's fairly possible to hold a adult, but it's terribly inconvenient. You need to have liquid nitrogen at your house and "fill up" your board before using it. The board is also going to be extremely easily breakable (well the supra at least).
