It's good to hear that they are putting forth the effort to make the FPS elements meaningful and calculated as opposed to some implementations of first-person action in non FPS games.
I'm very excited to hear this as a competitive CS:GO player. I've been watching Star Citizen since kickstarter, and have become increasingly excited for it as time passes on.
