I've been lucky to meet David and see him play a few times in a house concert setting. If you only know him from the radio, I urge you to check out his CDs or track him down at a festival. He is a fantastic musician, as well being a wickedly smart and erudite guy and an important part of the Grateful Dead family, IMO.
