Amazon’s customer service backdoor
As a security conscious user who follows the best practices like: using unique passwords, 2FA, only using a secure computer and being able to spot phishing attacks from a mile away, I would have thought my accounts and details would be be pretty safe? Wrong.

Welp, good to know this. I hope that Amazon at least learns from this, but seeing from the screenshot in the first comment, it doesn't look very likely.
I'm one of the few people I know who avoids using Amazon. I had a very similar experience with their support staff- bad practices, terrible customer service.

Customer support is always a dodgy thing for most websites it seems.
