    India is completely out of control, seems like China's implementations in the 70s has started paying off and the population isn't going to really grow, not to mention their economy and state of living being improved. But India is going to end up surpassing them quickly. If Japan isn't careful, they'll be going the way of the buffalo.

    Get your shit together India. And start having more sex Japan.

    Looking at countries like Russia and Germany during the early years of the graphs, there are major reductions in babies being born during the 2 World Wars.

        If you press play on this interactive graph, you can see genocides happening. Chilling.

        But simultaneously it shows the correlation between higher life expectancy and lower fertility rates, and the general shift toward the lower right, which is a slight positive. I feel terrible for Africa though :(

        That Google public data explorer site is fascinating. Play around with the axes.
