There can be no peaceful coexistence with Islam.
For reference, there are approximately 1,624,000,000 people who follow Islam, or 23.2% of all people on earth, or more than 1/5 of the total population. So, yes, I think this qualifies as a blanket statement as /u/AdelleChattre pointed out. If there could be "no peaceful coexistence" with 1/5 of all people, I think things would be a hell of a lot less peaceful than they are, don't you? Let's stick to condemning actions and challenging ideas, not making dire, unfounded, and frankly absurd statements.
Is that blanket statement based on Muslims you've known or the Islam you hear about in the media?
