The Definition of Insanity is...
I hear this every week, sometimes twice a day: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." No, it isn't.

Thanks for the clarity - I have recently started hearing this stated in an offhand way, as though it were generally accepted fact already. It's frightening how swiftly a baseless figure of speech can become a 'fact'.
