This looks like a fantastic train ride. Has anyone done this train trip?
Yes, several times when I lived over there. It is well worth it for the ride alone, but Settle is a very pretty Yorkshire Dales village and Carlisle has an historic castle.
That sounds just fantastic. Add to that a village and a castle! Nice.
