I'm on the fence about McClain. When he's on the field, he plays with intensity, and he's an asset. When he's off the field, he acts like he doesn't care. He isn't committed to the Cowboys or even football in general, but he's a good, cheap (relatively speaking) starter. If they can get some value for him like maybe a 5th or 6th round pick, I wouldn't be opposed to trading him, but I don't want to lose him for nothing.
This goes for me too, I really felt him and Carter kept it alive last year, as much depth as we have because of Lee, I am still really surprised we let Carter go. As for McClain I am just afraid he is going to be this guy who is going to wing it like he did for the Raiders.
I hope our guys can rally around him!
