WWE Sees Opportunities to 'Integrate LGBT Storylines' In Programming
Speaking at a Beyond Sport United event in New York this week, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon said her organization -- best known for its wrestling showdowns -- is committed to LGBT inclusivity. "Throughout my life I have grown up knowing gay [WWE] superstars and executives," McMahon told NBC OUT backstage. "It's always been accepted, but now it's about getting that message out there."

I just don't see how this pseudo-sport can add storylines that incorporate this in a good light, I have flashbacks to Rico, Billy & Chuck and Hot Lesbian Action in 2002-2004 as proof it could go horribly wrong for them. IMO, It'd be better to have "red carpet" shows for their Slammy awards/WM Stuff and have actual LGBT stars bring their significant others, show they're just people like everyone else.
Yeah, the same company that thought the Katie Vick story line was a good idea, now wants to tackle LGBT inclusion. What could possibly go wrong?
