I give the outraged Christian right this scenario, a Muslim woman who is allowed to wear her hijab is a teacher in your rural community for Home Ec. They tell her she must teach the children how to make pork chops and bacon, she says no and is fired for it. What do you do then? I imagine many would say if you can't do your job then you shouldn't have it.
Personally, I'm of another mind, she wants to do the video and nurse thing or have someone else teach it, let her, make her pay for the nurses time and don't pay her for the time she isn't teaching. You've accommodated her religion and since she didn't work she doesn't get paid.
