Guardians 2: Mary Poppins Line Wasn't in the Script
James Gunn has revealed that the classic Mary Poppins line wasn’t part of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. script. The first film, of course, told the story about a group of outlaws including Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (voice of Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voice of Vin Diesel) formed a unique bond to essentially become a family, albeit a very dysfunctional one. Vol. 2 continued the family theme, with Peter encountering his long-lost father, Ego (Kurt Russell), who may not be all that he seems.
