I'm impressed. I think it's definitely a positive sign that Snapzu seems to stand up for freedom of speech while equally recognising that hate speech towards anyone is deeply unpleasant to a great majority of people. Thankfully the FPH lot have all slithered off to Voat and not tried to stick around!

Agreed. Some of the decisions that Pao made were questionable. Maybe unethical at best. Her treatment of Dacvak (if true) was verging on appalling.
That's not why I left. I left because of what has become a thoroughly toxic community. Nothing that the Admins can do can get rid of that. I got fed up of seeing an orange-red and my default reaction being "Oh god, what have I done?".

I don't want to generalise but I feel that a lot of the 'Fat People Hate' crowd have gone en masse to Voat. The schism seems to have sent them careering one way and those who want something similar to the Reddit of 2007 here. I've missed the news, coding, occasional tech news and general community feel of what was 'Old Reddit', way before the 'Old Reddit' of recent complaints.
I've lurked on Snapzu for a while and only joined today but I like what I see. It's small scale, sensible and appears to actually be constructive instead of tiring. I know this isn't the answer to the question posed in the title but I just wanted to add my thoughts.

We've had a similar reaction in the UK. Not necessarily at 'parade in New York' intensity but an incredibly positive reaction to what was a great World Cup. Women's football in the UK is getting better year on year and it seems like it's catching on Worldwide which is amazing. It'll be interesting to see how much international sides have developed in comparison in the next four years and what happens at the next World Cup.

On one hand NXT is an incredible show. On the other, you'll eventually see a good amount of the current NXT brand on the main roster and will have few opportunities to see NJPW wrestlers locally.
I'd have to follow your lead and head to ROH. That should be a special show and a hot crowd!

I would imagine it would be fairly easy to initially set up the arena for a half capacity and then measure demand based on ticket sales. Possibly extend by groups of rows at a time until capacity is hit or interests starts to decline. I'm intrigued to see whether they try and mimic the NXT atmosphere or go 'balls to the wall' and see how big they can make the show.
They have a captive audience with the PPV the next night, I can't see why a lot of people wouldn't take the opportunity to go out and see the up and coming stars in the WWE. It's going to be an interesting night!
