K’plah!
Greece seems like they are fricking asshats at this point, nobody is going to confuse a province in Greece for a damn country beyond their borders. This would be like if the state of GA decided that the US should demand the country of Georgia change their name.
Except Georgia is Georgia, and has been for centuries. Macedonia isn't Macedonia, never was, they would simply rather have people believe it were.
This is more like New Jersey deciding they were Brooklyn. Or Mobile, Alabama taking the name New Orleans. It's a sham. The outrage is entirely legitimate.
I'm pretty sure that picture isn't from a Star Trek film. That looks like Worf's brother, Kurn, from a TNG episode.
You’re right, the caption’s wrong, it’s Next Gen. That’s High Chancellor K’mpec with Kurn, busily earning his place in the Black Fleet. Having been slowly murdered by a poisoner too cowardly to show his face at the kill barely hints at his dishonor, the depths of which may never be fathomed.
Thank you! I couldn't think of K'mpec's name. I need a TNG binge watch soon.
