I noticed this the other day when I fired up Dolphin on my average laptop and Metroid Prime and Super Paper Mario ran incredibly fast; no difference at all in performance from the consoles. And back in the late 90s my desktop would struggle to emulate NES games..gotta love technology!
Haha yeah nowadays any decent smartphone can do that.
